AFA Locations

New York, France, Las Vegas, New Orleans
Est. 1984

A landmark gallery in SoHo since 1984, AFA (formerly Animazing) began as an exhibition space specializing in conceptual animation art. Over time, we broadened that scope to include works by renowned Illustrators and pop culture commercial artists as well as fine artists. In 2012, in keeping with the momentum of our natural development and growth, we revamped the gallery’s program with new artists, exhibitions and endeavors and renamed it AFA (Animazing Fine Art).

In 2005, AFA ambitiously opened a new location, with permanent and rotating galleries, at the Château de Belcastel in southern France. The Château is a tourist attraction, historical landmark, private event venue, commercial filming location, and exclusive retreat. More information about the Château can be found at

AFA and the Chateau de Belcastel have hosted nearly 100 events to honor and showcase some of the greatest artists, directors, authors, and entertainment figures of the last 25 years. Many events provided charitable contributions for such organizations as The Schneider Children’s Hospital, the National Hungerthon campaign, and Toys for Tots. The gallery has hosted benefits with the American Breast Cancer Foundation and The Jim Henson Foundation, among others, and has supported the arts through collaborations with MoMA, BAM, MOMI, MoCCA, The Society of Illustrators and The Charles Schulz Museum.

AFA SoHo is available to rent for private functions. The sunny, beatiful corner showroom in SoHo has housed charitable functions, personal receptions, musical acts, awards ceremonies, media gatherings, class visits, commercial photoshoots, red carpet events, and much more.
